About Siddharth Mayya

Robotics researcher with a special focus on deploying multi-robot teams and artificial intelligence systems in real-world environments. I am most passionate about the role that this technology can play in reversing biodiversity loss and mitigating climate change. In that regard, I've been excited about harnessing sensor networks combined with machine learning models, to accelerate the generation of actionable insights ultimately aimed at protecting threatened natural ecosystems. Founding member of the Robotarium (https://www.robotarium.gatech.edu/), the world's first open access swarm robotics tested, which now has over 2,300 registered users from all continents in the world except Antarctica, who have submitted more than 10, 000 experiments. Through Quixotic Robotics (https://www.quixoticrobotics.org/), I continue to leverage the power of robotics to propel STEM engagement and outreach among students. I have a PhD in swarm robotics from Georgia Tech working with Dr. Magnus Egerstedt in the GRITS Lab. Between 2020 and 2021, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the GRASP Lab at UPenn working with Dr. Vijay Kumar.

Listed skills include C, C++, Matlab, Python, and 19 others.
