As a marketing partner for the Software Testing/Quality Engineering practice, I did the following:- Create a marketing plan every quarter targeting to bring business leads from Retail and Software & Hi-Tech (SHT) prospects in line with the marketing funnel- Plan, create and curate content like blogs, case studies, whitepapers, webinars, articles, landing pages and solution pages for various software testing services - Liase with Business Development and Sales to nurture and follow up with prospects as part of lead generation- Plan, create and manage paid and organic ad campaigns through Google ads, LinkedIn and Account Based Marketing (ABM) tools like Recotap and Rollworks

In a short career of six and a half years as a print journalist, I have analysed threadbare policy issues of a plethora of government agencies like Greater Chennai Corporation, Southern Railway, police and investigative agencies like CBI, Customs, Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and Narcotics Control Bureau, University of Madras and Right to Information Act (RTI). Working in a daily news organisation where an equal amount of focus on breaking news and deep dives into subjects has trained me into tailoring my skills to the convenience of the organisation. The long hours spent into understanding hierarchies of organisations, collecting information on, and investigating policies has helped hone my analytical skills as well as develop deep reserves of patience necessary in a high-pressure newsroom. An ability to work ethically under pressure and long hours of work was no doubt developed while studying Chemical Engineering and working as a process engineer in Essar Oil for two years at their Jamnagar oil refinery, before the career shift. As a result of an engineering background, I find it easier to distil complex subjects into prose lucid enough for the larger masses. The experience gained in filing dozens of RTI applications has been useful in understanding how government works, which I have shared with budding journalists at my alma mater Asian College of Journalism (ACJ) through informal lectures.
