MentorRensselaer Center For Open Source Apr 2019 - Dec 2019I mentor RPI students that are working on open source projects to ensure they build their projects to be the best they can be and develop skills that will carry over to SWE/PM positions in the industry. I've worked on 2 RCOS projects: Venue, an attendance verification system for off-campus events. I helped to implement the TA endpoint, along with managing the team. I also spearheaded real-life tests of Venue, collaborating with professors and other faculty members to test the program in real life scenarios. Venue can be found at venue.cs.rpi.eduObservatory, which is RCOS's main project management tool/info hub. I helped with the frontend rewrite of Observatory using Vue.js.
