I’m Siddharth Sonthalia, a 4th generation media leader reshaping the digital news landscape in South India. Currently serving as the Managing Director of The New Indian Express Group's Digital Media division, I’m on a mission to make unbiased journalism accessible to millions across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Odisha, and beyond.To give you a brief about my journey:- I graduated in December 2009 with a BBA from Griffith University, Australia, specializing in management.- After returning to India, I joined my family’s company and spent a year training across all departments, learning the business from the ground up alongside my father.- Soon after, I was appointed Regional Leader of the company and later took on the dual role of Executive Director of our online division, Express Networks Private Limited, where I lead our digital expansion efforts.- Since 2012, I’ve been spearheading the digital growth of The New Indian Express Group, ensuring that our news platforms uphold the values of fearless journalism while embracing the evolving digital landscape.From print to digital, my focus has always been on merging traditional journalism values with technological innovation.
