Working on a REST based web application with EmberJS on the front end and with Java Dropwizard framework powering the server side. The product caters to the Web scale customers for the management of communication between data centers. My role in this project is to implement the vertical slice of requirements, interfacing with other teams and contributing on driving the product forward.Lead the work on several modules for a Java based thick client application which was managing several key aspects of an Optical Network Equipment. Performed various tasks such as• Gathering feature requirements and holding design discussions and reviews with other Ciena team(s). • Team representation during inter functional meetings and collaboration with the Product Verification teams, Design Teams and Release Team. • Preparation of HLD/FD, Effort Estimation and preparation of Work Breakdown Structure• Doing implementation and code reviews, bug fixing and PV support
