I am working in the Quantum Mixtures Lab under Dr.Saptarishi Chaudhuri on the design and optimization of the experimental setup for Bose-Einstein Condensate for quantum simulation application on the following topics:• Optical alignment using Lasers and optical devices for polarization control of light• RF and microwave signal processing for evaporative cooling of cold atoms• Working on learning to control instruments using LabVIEW

I worked at the Department of Instrumentation and Applied Physics in the NanoSTech Lab under Dr. Asha Bhardwaj on the following topics:• Worked on analyzing experiments in quantum communication with quantum dots and interpretingthe data using a single photon detector.• Design and optimization of experimental setup for Quantum random number generation using Quantum Dots• Theoretically analyzed Mach-Zehnder Interferometer using single photon states and analyzed theresult using MATLAB.• Worked on synthesis and characterization of Carbon quantum dots using the Schlenk line method.

I worked in the Centre for Programmable Photonic Integrated Circuits and systems(CPPICS) under Dr.Bijoy Krishna Das on the following topics• Analysis and design of photonic circuits for quantum random number generation.• Study of quantum optics in understanding the behavior of photonic devices at the quantum level.• Analyzed and implemented NIST Test Codes for checking the quality of random numbers usingMATLAB.• Worked on assembling optical instruments like optical fibers, beamsplitters, and balanced photodetectors for generating quantum random numbers.• Worked on using FPGA for efficient read-out of quantum random numbers from optical experiment.

I worked in the Sixth Sense Lab under Dr.Santanu Talukder on the following topics• Worked on understanding COMSOL Multiphysics simulation software.• Worked on understanding the electrochemistry module and linking it with the microfluidics module.• Analyzed cyclic voltammetry setup theoretically and implemented its designs using COMSOL Multiphysics.• Linked the simulation of cyclic voltammetry with microfluidic channels on COMSOL Multiphysicsand studied various parameters like electrode potential variation with the concentration of chemicals in 1D,2D and 3D.
