Technical Consultant - Wireless

• Designing and upgrading existing Wireless Infrastructure of various client locations UCB (United Chemicals of Belgium).• Installing and configuring Cisco Wireless Controllers 5508 and 5520 by visiting client location in Belgium.• Configuring and deploying Cisco wireless Access Points 2700, 3600 and 3700 series in Local, Monitor and Flexconnect modes.• Doing Site Survey Planners using Ekahau Site Survey Software for the client UCB different office locations.• Installing and configuring Cisco Prime Infrastructure 3.1 for the customer for managing Cisco Wireless and Wired Devices and pushing configuration templates to these devices.• Generating various reports from Cisco Prime Infrastructure to provide network health report.• Drawing Low Level and High Level Network Diagrams in Visio for the project.• Working on Incidents and Tickets using Remedy Tool from BMC.• Opening Change requests through Remedy and implementation of changes.

• Worked on Reliance Jio 4G deployment project in Mumbai.• Configuring 4G IMS Solution for Reliance.• Deploying HP DL-380 and C7000 servers with VMware Esxi 5.5.• Installing Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6 based operating system with IMS services on HP servers.• Implementing WebRTC Gateway and Inter Working Function Nodes in Telecom networks.• Security Hardening on the above mentioned Linux based server by installing patches and scripts.• Drawing Low Level Network Diagrams in Visio for the project.• Coordinating between the R&D team and end customers to fix software based bugs

• To configure and troubleshoot Wireless Controllers and Access Points for enterprise customers.• To do lab re-creates on behalf of the customer for reproducing bug scenarios.• Part of ENG Alpha network in Cisco, deploying, testing and troubleshooting NPI products like 3850 Controller, 5760, Mingla (4500 with Wireless Module).• To handle escalations and to resolve those issues at the highest priority.• As a role of a Bug Champion, my duties include educating my team on the procedure of filing bugs and following them up with the development team.• To work with high reference accounts and assure timely delivery of support and service.• Coordinating between the Developer team and end customers to fix software based bugs.• To Interview candidates for Junior or Equivalent roles.• To provide training to the newly hired candidates.
