I am a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at National Institute of Technology Silchar, Assam.I joined the institute in July 2004 as Lecturer. My area of research includes synthesis of graphitic carbon nitride based nanocomposites and thier application as photocatalysts for environmental remediation, H2 evolution, CO2 reduction. Overall the focus of research is to design newer nanomaterials and explore their utility as materials of choice for energy storage and harvesting as well as reduction of environmental and health hazards.
