 Interaction with experts (both within India & Abroad) to understand and implement latest techniques to achieve excellence in the field of Metallurgy. Establishing Metallurgical Process of by SPC Techniques e.g. Cp-Cpk Study, Control Limits, etc. Preparing PPAP documentation and undertaking investigation of chronic & non-assignable failures by Shiening Techniques e.g. DOE, ANOVA, etc.  Developing and establishing the Heat Treatment processes e.g. regular Hardening & Tempering, Normalising, Control Cooling processes for achieving customer requirements. Identifying and developing potential vendors; achieving reduction in prices and timely delivery. Regular interaction with Customers in order to implement improvements in the existing quality system as well as active involvement to the issues at customer line to smoothen the workflow. Assessing performance of the vendors, vendor rating based on various criterions such as percentage for rejections, quality improvement, timely delivery, credit terms, etc. Attend to various customer queries, complaints and coordinates with marketing, Manufacturing Excellence and Engineering Excellence in resolving the issue Ensure that the quality team has appropriate instruments and gauges in proper quality and right quantity Be responsible for coordinating for internal and external audits with proper documentation.  Handling problem solving of day-to-day process defects from metallurgical point of view.
