During my internship at IIT Madras Ai4Bharat, I contributed to enhancing the authentication backend by integrating Djoser and Simple JWT for secure token-based authentication. I also implemented OAuth support for third-party authentication providers, streamlining the login process. This work reinforced the security infrastructure and made authentication processes more flexible and scalable. Working closely with a distributed team, I improved my communication and problem-solving skills while handling critical backend functionalities.currently working on Chitralekha an open-source platform for video subtitling across various Indic languages, using ML model support (ASR for Transcription, NMT for Translation, and TTS for Voice Over). Chitralekha offers support for multiple input sources (Ex: YouTube, local, etc.), transcription generation process (Ex: Models, Source captions, Custom subtitle files, etc.) and voice-over (Ex: mp3 for audio only, mp4 for audio-video combination, etc.)

As the Technical Head of the PICT IEEE Student Branch, I led a team of developers in organizing and managing technical events and projects. I conducted JavaScript Special Interest Groups (SIGs) for first- and second-year students, designed and developed the Online Judge system for coding contests, and spearheaded the development of the Credenz Tech Fest host website. In this role, I managed a backend team of three, ensuring smooth execution of all technical tasks, fostering a collaborative environment, and enhancing my leadership, teamwork, and project management skills.

As a Software Development Intern, I developed and deployed a scalable data analytics API using the Django REST Framework, integrated with the Lamadava API, and hosted on Amazon EC2 using Docker. This improved data processing time by 25%. I also implemented KMeans clustering with NumPy and scikit-learn to enhance the accuracy of Instagram user data analysis by 30%, providing more precise engagement metrics. Additionally, I optimized the data processing pipeline using regex to extract usernames and developed a custom Social Juice Score, which improved metric calculation efficiency by 20%.
