I oversaw multiple teams of software engineers and quality engineers responsible for designing, developing and maintaining systems to process specialty pharmacy prescriptions.Some of my major contributions were improving resiliency by introducing and managing blue-green deployments, coordinating disaster recovery plans, reducing technical debts and defects, increasing team productivity and integrating automated risk evaluation and mitigation strategies (REMS) for Oncology medicines.

World Travel Holdings is world's largest distributor of cruises. I managed a team of full-stack software engineers responsible for designing, developing and maintaining a massive eCommerce platform serving 50 million page views a month. The websites include Priceline, Orbitz, JetBlue, Delta, American Airlines, United, Marriott, BJ's, CruisesOnly and other popular brands in travel industry.I worked with cross functional teams to converge the design and development towards aligned architectural guidelines and corporate vision. Moreover directed the teams to collaborate and deliver projects over multiple swim lanes.

Collaborated with eCommerce, Web Design, and vendors to architect solutions for integrating cruise reviews from social media website on multiple websites using Java, J2EE, SQL, Hibernate, Ehcache, Spring and Struts. Led the technical integration cycle of franchise-based and direct-to-consumer cruise selling websites. Created UI on Magnolia CMS using Freemarker to enable the business teams to specify criteria for displaying cheapest cruise prices online.

Coordinated offshore development effort in a consulting environment for an online banking website. Worked with the client to close business technology requirements. Implemented modules of online banking using J2EE.
