As part of MIAX trading platforms senior technical leadership team, Sid is responsible for technical strategy, architecture and innovation in implementation and operation of highly reliable and resilient Ultra low latency, high throughput trading systems.Sid oversees overall architecture, design, development and implementation of trading platforms across asset classes (Equities and Equities Options, Price Publication for Blockchain Smart Contracts etc), while engaging with Business Strategists & Legal/Compliance teams, several Technology teams (Software architects, Performance engineers, Systems and Network engineers, Systems and Network Operations, Back Office Systems), QA and Trading Operations, InfoSec and Enterprise Risk Management teams to deliver systems recognized in the industry as best exchange trading platforms with industry leading determinism, latency, throughput and availability. In his current role, Sid also engages with MIAX’s trading partners and key industry entities to provide deep and consistent insights into MIAX exchanges functional capabilities and technology architecture. Sid represents MIAX in industry technical committee forums and shares MIAX’s POVs and insights. Sid also engages with technology vendors to evaluate offerings, negotiate contract details and drive system integration.Sid has 20+ yrs of proven track record of successfully leading and delivering business critical production systems that align with time to market and strategic revenue and operational excellence goals of organizations across multiple domains, including real-time high speed trading, portfolio risk management, domestic fiscal policy implementation, sovereign debt issuance etc. Sid works across multi-disciplinary teams within organizations to deliver the projects he leads.Sid is passionate about building and sustaining a very collaborative, excellence driven team environment that drives accountability across all levels and brings about the best individually and collectively.
