I am a mathematics researcher aiming to transition into industry. I am inquisitive and like solving complex problems. I want to work in a fast-paced environment where I can produce tangible results while working with similar-minded individuals. I am looking for a job that will satisfy my interest and make full use of my skills. I was most recently a postdoctoral researcher at Bar-Ilan University, Israel, from 2020 to 2022. Before that, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, USA, during 2019-2020. I completed my M.A. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Oklahoma, USA, in 2015 and 2019 respectively. My undergraduate degree is a B.Sc. (Honors) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Chennai Mathematical Institute, India in 2013.I am proficient in Python and SQL with knowledge of NumPy and Pandas. I am also familiar with Haskell and have taken courses in Data Science and Machine Learning. I have been studying Financial Mathematics and Trading out of self-interest. I am a quick learner, team player, and initiative driven with solid leadership skills and experience. On a personal side, I am learning Hindustani classical music as a hobby. I also enjoy star gazing and have given presentations on telescope handling.
