Everything in my life has prepared me to build and lead @yhangry👩🏻‍🍳 - building a consumer unicorn bringing people closer IRLI majored in Computer Science Artificial Intelligence from Columbia Uni in 2013 back when AI wasn’t sexy. After doing a couple internships at Google, etc, I wanted to be an environment where I could learn about the markets and have a lot of fun: trading was the perfect fit.I spend 6.5yrs in trading doing asset back secured and financial subordinated debt (sometimes distressed), and ran a balance sheet of over £500m+ in risk assets. I loved it while it lasted but.. …I had the entrepreneurship itch. I knew I wanted to build something and have a bigger impact on this world.. I had an idea, found a co founder and quit shortly after to pursue our idea. We didn’t have any connections in tech, but we had a lot of grit and hustleI'm loud, opinionated and speedy ⚡️I love data, but I’m a huge believer in intuition. Data is important, but often you have to make critical decisions quickly, swiftly and without it. I'm a professional Bollywood dancer and a serious barista coffee lover. I read 20-50 books a year. I love product mindset, helping founders (async or quick voice note) and building communities. I really believe that this world has a loneliness epidemic (accelerated by the rise in social media), and the only chance to succeed is by forging real life connections and having a real community around you.
