Current* Led the development of the firewall, routing rules, and other critical networking components for theFirecracker (docker) virtual machine as part of software-defined networking re-architecture. As a result, it paved the way for many other significant optimization efforts in Lambda’s networking infrastructure.* Created a monitoring service that continuously checks critical infrastructure’s health, utilizing optimized algorithms for fault detection. This lowered the automatic mitigation time of large-scale events from 20to 5 minutes, reduced costs, and increased efficiency to deliver more value.* Designed a mechanism to capture TLS metrics and errors, and successfully executed a proof of concept. This initiative helped our team identify TLS errors induced by certificate expiration during runtime upgrades, improving our system’s overall reliability and customer experience.* Led the network performance analysis of Linux kernel 5.10, by analyzing key performancemetrics on Intel and AMD platforms. Through this effort, we reduced overall cold start latency by 13.125%* Optimized the test framework and improved the health of integration tests, resulting in a significant decrease in test verification time from 8 hours to just 1 hour which resulted in faster deployments.
