• Review complete project at different stages TOL, Scope of Work (PTS), Base and detailed design packages of new and upgraded substations and provide comments.• Preparing reports pertaining to outages, breakdown of equipment, major incidents, restoration efforts, etc.• Coordinating with projects department and Commissioning Services department (CSD) for related issues before energizing substations.• Coordinating with Project Planning department for reinforcement projects in the existing substation and offering technical suggestions.

Worked as Team Leader for warranty and closeout activities of following HV substations designed, constructed and commissioned by Siemens for Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA).Ahmadiya , Fahidi , Dragon Mall , Garden of Paradise , Ruwayyah , Uptown , Meadows , Emirates Mall , DHCC , Burj Dubai , Dubai Land , IMPZ , Dubai Mall.Organize resources and exercise executive cost control of Warranty/Closeout to ensure that all queries were answered on time, within budget and under the HSEQ equipment. Follow guidelines of Customer Communication Matrix to maintain relationships with key members of customer’s organization to support warranty and close out process. Responsible for making direct contact with more than 50 national & international vendors, contractors & client (DEWA).Main vendors were JAEPS (Japan), Siemens AG (Germany), Areva (Turkey), Siemens (Indonesia), Zener (Dubai), Prime Electric Company, LLC.

• Strategically monitoring & controlling transmission network of Karachi city.

• Preventive, routine maintenance & post fault management of HV substation equipment.• Monitor & maintain HV & MV switchgear, GIS, transformers, battery banks, battery chargers, measuring & recording instruments & all allied equipment & accessories.Design and implement different systems for monitoring and enhancing maintenance procedures to increase equipment effectiveness in addition to applying and improving the Preventive maintenance (PM).Ensure the availability of electrical spare parts for the major equipment with minimum inventory cost by planning their stock levels, ordering them from suitable vendorsPlan and handle personnel availability and training requirements in electrical department which resulted in achieving operations targets.Provide electrical support for projects department to ensure project’s on time & within budget delivery.Key Achievement:Successfully achieved the below mentioned special task assigned by the management.Replaced 06 no 132kV (minimum oil) breakers with SF6 breakers , replaced 04 no , 220V redundant battery banks with new banks , reinforced 06 No 132kV/11kV , 20MVA Power Transformer with 31.5 MVA transformers along with compatible 132kV C.Ts , replaced old MV switchgear (minimum oil) lots with new switchgear (Vacuum ).
