Currently hold the title of Vice President of the Patient Engagement business initiative at eClinicalWorks called 'healow' (Health and Online Wellness). I focus on enabling healthcare organizations to achieve clinical excellence and transformation through health information technology. I hold 15+ years of experience in healthcare information technology, including systems design and implementation, product management, workflow management, information exchange and process re-engineering. With my experience in the management of large HIT implementation projects, I have provided my services to numerous clients across the nation.One of my most recent focus is implementing many of eClinicalWorks' Patient solutions out to the provider and consumer healthcare market. Some of the solutions in this initiative include use of Patient Portals, Mobile Health Apps, Patient Communication tools, Patient check-in and Appointment booking and Televisit tools. I seek out for innovation and challenges in all areas possible and believe in leading change.Prior to this I was the Managing Director of our NYC office of eCW and program lead eCW's EHR product rollout to providers in 700+ practices as part of the NYC DOHMH’s Primary Care Information Project. This is the nations largest community project connecting independent practices, in a variety of practice settings including small practices, community health centers and outpatient hospitals. I contributed a significant portion of my time, post EMR adoption, on connecting all NYC practices to a shared service model for better population health management.I have worked closely with many Health IT systems such as Quest, Labcorp, Bioreference, ePrescribing Vendor – Surescripts, Hospital systems - Cerner, Allscripts, McKesson, EPIC) and many others.
