I am a full-stack roboticist, with a focus on enabling robots to physically interact with the world safely and fluently, as applied to robotic manipulation and autonomous mobility. I like to build end-to-end systems that integrate perception, planning, and control in the real world. As a Professor I’m committed to teaching the next generation and building open hardware and software to democratize robotics. As a Business Leader I’m committed to building and deploying end to end robotics products that work backwards from true customer needs, and scaling and empowering science, engineering and deployment organizations to deliver world class products that combine Robotics and AI.
