 Responsible for strategic and commercial decision for Tyres, Alloy and Steel Wheel rims and Glasses for across vehicle platforms from small cars to commercial vehicles with an annual purchase value of Rs 4000 crores Responsible for Manufacturing Site Assessment (MSA) inline with VDA 6.3 process audits Leading new part development and supplier nomination of a category of parts for all platform of vehicle at TML Involved in enhancing the productivity and quality of the suppliers and part of APQP process. Estimating the cost of parts of project which are in preliminary stages based on benchmarking and other available details, also suggesting improvement to make the project competitive in terms of time and cost Building strategic supplier base with focused approach

 Responsible for strategic and commercial decision for all Wheel rims , Bearings ,Parking Brake Levers , Wipers,control cables and Tool kits required at Tata Motors Ltd across all platform vehicles. Ensuring cost reduction by resourcing, commercial negotiations, SOB modification, and value engineering;. Leading new part development and supplier nomination of a category of parts for all platform of vehicle at TML  Following relevant commodity prices and currency rates and indexing the prices based on the changes

- Assigned role in Materials Pricing Committee , CVBU Pune plant to settle commercials of Mechanical and Electrical proprietary items (Jacks, Shock absorber, Batteries, Bearings, Wiring Harness, Head lamps, etc) - Monitored regular price revisions components as per raw material trends .- Budgets allocation by forecasting and analyzing raw material price trends - Analyzed price increase proposals from vendors and negotiated the final price increases.- Member of VAVE idea generation and part commonisation team.

I joined Tata Motors as part of the Graduate Engineer Trainee Program. Completed 2 rotational assignments of 3 months' duration- one each in Manufacturing (Manufacturing of Mine Protected Vehicle) and Sales / Marketing (Launch and sales of Magic Iris).
