This project dealt with EDC and ICON clinical trial data. We are receiving files in SAS format from both these vendors on a daily basis. My role was to automate the ETL process from acquiring the SAS files and placing them into local drives. ICON data required conformance which was performed using SAS tools. I have used unix and Informatica scheduler to achieve this. For first phase we were targeting on just the EDC vendors and acquiring their files and placing into the shared drive. On EDC data no conformance was performed. R-script was used to perform data validation and delta checks which was then loaded into Oracle database.

The project is about Clinical Trial Management System which was already set on a different platform and business wanted to migrate to Informatica platform which helps them to deal with various file formats. In this project my role was to adhere to Shire standardizations and derive an Informatica architecture which is helpful for long term.I have used IDQ and Informatica Power Centre for the implementation.
