As an Asst.Chief Accountant I am responsible for Monitoring, analyzing and supporting the profit and loss processes and assist in all aspects of financial management and control, including systems checks and performance measurement.Main duties:* Consolidating monthly sales reports * Preparing and managing all the accounts, including sales ledger, purchase ledger, bank reconciliation, monthly management accounts reporting* Analysis of all costs and income for the month, posting correction/adjustment journals as well as reversing journals, prepayments, accruals, deferred income and accrued income * Running monthly forecast vs budget reports on Management Reporter* Delivery of Management Accounts reports with full commentary* Update detailed year end forecasts on a weekly basis, Prepare annual budgets, and monthly flexed budgets.* Preparation of Monthly Consolidated P&L* Maintaining cashbook and Presenting a true and fair view of the financial position of the unit* Strategies to improve gross margin opportunities and cost reduction measures* Oversee client reporting; producing reports, analysis, and projections* Review monthly supplier payment runs* Review inter-company balance reconciliations and ensure all necessary recharges are invoiced and paid down on a timely basis* Taking adequate measures to ensure timely receipt of payments and Guest Ledger.* Managing funds & Reimbursement of funds, monitoring accessories purchase.* Responsible for the creditors, income accounting, debtors and banking operations of the units.* Annual audit – to get all the stat reports, accounts prepared for the audit, as well as be available to support the auditors during their visit
