Black Mamba Racing is the official student team representative of NIT Rourkela participating in all National & International BAJA SAE competitions. The participation in these competitions involves building a 4 wheeler buggy from scratch which would be suitable for extreme off-road driving conditions.Integral member of the official team representing NIT Rourkela at all National BAJA competitions, contributing to the brake and wheel assembly and the sponsorship sub-teams.

Monday Morning is the official student-run media body and e-Newsletter of NIT Rourkela. The organisation is the only reporting body on campus that acts as a link between the administration and the student community.♦ The mentor supervises the working of the Chief Coordinators and is involved in senior decision-making processes.♦ The Chief Coordinator is responsible for leading any and all activities of Monday Morning both on and off the website.♦ Lead a team of 30 sophomores consisting of content writers, photographers, designers and techies.♦ Member of the content team responsible for the collection, production and editing of all the articles featuring in the online and offline edition.

Interned at Tata Steel, Jamshedpur for a period of two months involving a real time project titled, "Reduction of Mid-Term GCP Cleaning Duration and Increasing Interval Between Subsequent GCP Cleaning at LD#1" .Rated as one of the best industrial internships for mechanical engineering students, Inspire Summer Internship lets the interns work on real time projects with possible substantial impact on the multi-billion dollar company. My project involved getting accustomed to on site safety measures and operations, interacting with various junior and senior level employees, assessing the root of the problem and finally giving a presentation the director of Steel making and the HOD of LD#1 at the end of two months.

Worked as a reporter in the content team of Monday Morning, the official student run media body of NIT Rourkela.
