I faced the challenge to launch a new sports management company in the highly competitive sports events market in India. In order to do so, I conducted an intensive market research and came up with the go-to-market strategy that we then successfully deployed and succeeded through. Apart from launching the firm, the following are our key achievements in the first year of operations.Key Achievements •Successfully launched and managed the Club Badminton Championship- a unique badminton championship inspired by the European club badminton culture (www.cbcmumbai.com) with participation from 16 top clubs in Mumbai.•Organized the Maharashtra Senior Inter-District and State Badminton Championship 2015 with a record 750 entries.•Organized the Inter- State West Zone Badminton Championship 2015 at D. Y. Patil Stadium with athletes from 5 states competing.•Successfully executed the Monsoon 10K Run which saw participation of more than 1500 Runners (www.sportsunited.in) •Won a contract with Maharashtra Badminton Association to organize the Senior State Badminton Championship for the next 5 years.•Organized Be-spoke sports events for various Corporate Companies.•Partnered with various reputed sporting brands such as Puma, Adidas, Compressport, Camelbak, Yonex & Enerzal for branded alliances for Sports United events

Research Internship • Conducted market research to create a new Sports fashion-wear brand and presented the findings to the director.• Coordinated Sourcing and Procurement of raw materials and various vendors globally.• Submitted a 9000 word report analyzing the internal and external sporting environment, Market entry strategy, Product positioning, marketing and Sales. • Was appointed the project coordinator for special projects for the company.

Venue Operations • Integral part of the Venue Operations Team at the Mumbai venue.• Managed Spectator Services and venue operations. • Contributed through hard work and leadership during the event.• Utilized analytical skills to assess problems and devise viable solutions.

• Managed sales for varied segment cars from small to the luxury car categories.• Achieved set targets and even surpassed sales goals for the branch in a consistent manner.• Negotiated with various stakeholders involved in the Auto industry.• Successfully carried out Customer Relationship Programmes which guaranteeing customer satisfaction.• Provided Automobile Finance options to Clients through HDFC Bank as the Company was a Direct Selling Agent for the Bank.
