Sidharth Mishra is a print media journalist, TV panelist and author with over 30 years of experience. Mishra’s area of interest is democratic functioning at the grassroots. He has covered every general election since 1996 and been a legislative and parliamentary reporter. In course of his reporting duties, he has traveled to the Gulf, Africa, Afghanistan, Taiwan and Ireland. In addition to his achievements in field of media he is a much respected name in academics having published works from top universities like Oxford and Cambridge and holding senior positions in Delhi University for about 15 years. Presently, he is Professor-Chairperson, Media Studies, Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (GGSIP University), New Delhi. He is also an elected member of Delhi University Court, the highest policy making body of the prestigious university headed by the President of India.
