Boltic:- Developed seamless management of 500TB (35 billion records) data volume through ELT pipelines. Utilized AWS DMS, S3, and AWS Glue for AWS, and Datastream for GCP, to integrate various data sources (mongoDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL) into BigQuery.- Spearheaded the project Boltic Streams, replacing the paid third-party tool Segment with in-house ETL pipelines from Click Stream Data source to BigQuery. This initiative resulted in a substantial cost savings of $80K in monthly billing.- Achieved 10x scaling of pipeline throughput, leveraging Kafka and Kafka Connect. Optimized parameters to boost record processing speed from 1K/sec to 10K/sec.- Setup different monitoring tools like prometheus and Grafana Dashboards to get eyes onto the system.
