Responding to critical food insecurity at Georgia Tech, I led an effective group of administrators and students in the founding of Klemis Kitchen. It has expanded and continues to serve the community.–Founded Georgia Tech’s first campus food pantry to address the issue of student hunger. Turned a growing need into a solution by designing a successful and sustainable strategy.–Chaired Advisory Board composed of campus administrators and students to raise $35,000+, acquire a physical space, and address further student instability issues.–Created relationships within the Georgia Tech community and the greater Atlanta community--resulting in exponential growth of users and a decline in student hunger.
