Currently working on ISIS protocol:-===========================(1) Involved in design & implementation of Segment Routing feature from ISIS side.(2) Advertise announce the maximum link metric for all NLRIs without setting the overload bit(3) Designed and implemented autoroute announce feature for ipv6.(4) Integrating ISIS with other components on Next Generation Router for NG ISSU(5) Layer 3 BundlesWorked on following projects while in rib/fib team:-======================================(1) BGP DMZ link bandwidth to achieve unequal cost multi-path load balancing(2) Unequal cost load balancing for IGP prefixes(3) Remote LFA FRR

Projects:-======(1) RCC (Route Consistency Checker):- IOS XR routers (CRS, C12000, ASR9000) being highly distributed in nature, it is possible that there might be inconsistency between routes installed byrouting protocols in RIB (routing information base, control plan) & FIB (forwarding information base, data plane). This can cause black holing of traffic.RCC checks detects such inconsistency of routes between RIB & FIB.(2) SVD (Selective Virtual Routing and Forwarding Table Download):-Selective VRF Download is an architectural solution to alleviate scalability and convergence problems with L3VPN technologies. SVD is mainly applicable to service provider routers with multiple line cards (LCs) and forwarding engines. The basic idea is to download to a line card only those prefixes and labels that are actively required to forward traffic through that line card.The SVD solution tries to optimize the table and route download to cards by classifying line cards by SVD card role and routes by SVD route type.Responsiblities:-----------------------*Involved in design & implemented how routes will be filtered on LC(line cards) based on different roles(Core, Customer) LC is playing on FIBs.*Involved in design & implemented how exception(ping, traceroute) packets coming from core will be handled if routes all routes are not present on LC.

Studied & did research on different application's traffic patterns and wrote signatures to detect them.
