Role: Primary TV commentator & AP of Fox Lane Foxes varsity sports on BCSD-TV: football, volleyball, soccer, field hockey, basketball, ice hockey, wrestling, baseball, softball, boys lacrosse, girls lacrosse.
Responsibilities:
• Interview players and coaches in production meetings prior to live-to-tape events
• Produce pre-game content for the scene-setter and opening of the telecast
• Conduct pre-game interviews on-camera with the captains and head coaches
• Perform live play-by-play commentary of games, including: sharing the biographies of the student-athletes and coaches; storytelling; providing historical perspective; making promotional announcements; resetting the broadcast at the start of each period; tossing to and returning from breaks in live action; and allowing the broadcast to breathe by laying out from time to time.
• Provide analysis of the game when working without a broadcast partner and without instant replay technology
(I have to explain a play from instant memory because the video replay is edited in post production over my live analysis. When I do have at least one broadcast partner, I engage him/her in a conversation by asking pertinent questions that encourages my partner to participate.)
• Conduct post-game interviews with players I select
• Conclude the broadcast on-camera with my partner(s) in a wrap-up segment
• Invite special guests to interview for use as halftime or intermission segments
• Produce halftime highlights segment and either record the voice-over tracks narration during the actual halftime, straight from my notes and memory without any video, or after the conclusion of the event during post-production, again without any video.

Responsibilities:
• Assist primary videotape associate director/producer (AD) and EVS operators with the production of in-game highlights packages inside the TV remote production truck
• Log live games in real time
• Develop storylines and track game trends
• Pitch ideas for highlights packages to be rolled in during game telecasts
• Identify star players and head coaches departing from team buses inside the arena and alert the crew in order to promote the next matchup on the programming schedule
• Alert crew to formatted, mandatory commercial breaks
• Distribute to each camera operator in between games a page of headshots of the players and coaches so it is easy to find them and put them on-camera at the TV director's discretion
• Talk with the athletic communications staff of the universities to locate people of special interest (administrators, parents, etc.) and communicate to the TV director and producer inside the remote production truck so they can be shown on-camera
• Drive crew back and forth from hotel and arena
• Assist unmanned aerial vehicle (drone) camera operator outside the arena

Role: Stage manager, 2013 Barclays Center Classic NCAA Men's Basketball double-header on NBCSN.
Responsibilities:
• Conduit between the TV associate director (AD) inside the TV remote production truck and the broadcast booth courtside
• Provide the on-air talent with countdown cues; point out when they're on-camera or looking at video; keep track of promotional copy/announcements for the play-by-play broadcast commentator
• Alert the TV director, producer and AD of the location of star players and teams sitting in the stands for b-roll or to be shown on-camera live

Role: On-air presenter for the Indian television broadcast partner of the National Basketball Association on-site at the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend in New Orleans.
Responsibilities:
• Be diligent and detail-oriented when communicating via email and by international telephone calls with the management team at Sony Entertainment Television (SET India) in Mumbai, India (9 1/2 hour time zone difference from New York)
• Solicit estimates and select ENG crew to travel on short notice
• Research the history of the city of New Orleans

Responsibilities:
• Prepare for and then perform live play-by-play commentary and color analysis of men's and women's soccer broadcasts on the sideline in between the team benches without a broadcast partner
• Promote the school's athletic social media platforms
• Analyze the first half with an alum during halftime segment
