As an artist and documentary photographer creating bodies of work across culture, community development, and social change, I'm responsible for conceptualizing, planning, and executing photo projects and campaigns that captured the essence of various cultural and societal phenomena. My key responsibilities and accomplishments during my tenure include:- Conceptualization and Planning: Successfully conceptualized and planned numerous documentary photography projects, which explored various themes such as cultural identity, community development, social justice, and climate change.- Photography and Photojournalism: Demonstrated proficiency in all aspects of photography and photojournalism, including research, fieldwork, composition, lighting, and editing, resulting in the creation of numerous photo essays.-Storytelling and Journalism: Utilized the power of visual storytelling and journalism to highlight pressing social issues and promote social change, resulting in increased awareness and engagement on various topics.-Project Management: Managed all aspects of photography projects, including budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and client relations, ensuring timely and effective delivery of high-quality images.-Exhibition and Publication: Successfully showcased photography work in various exhibitions, galleries, and publications, including solo and group shows and print and online publications, including CP24, Toronto Star, CBC, Complex Canada, Photo Ed Magazine, Now Magazine, Elle Canada, The Toronto Arts Newspaper, Times of India & Zuma Press.- Education and Outreach: Conducted workshops, lectures, and mentorship programs, educating aspiring photographers and and facilitating knowledge sharing.

My key responsibilities and accomplishments during my time include: - Project Management: Led the successful planning, development and implementation of numerous documentary projects, youth mentorships and public art installations, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of high-quality outcomes.- Creative Direction: Provided creative direction and oversight to project teams, ensuring that all creative content, including photography, cinematography and public art, was consistent with the overall vision and goals of the organization.- Fundraising and Resource Development: Developed and implemented successful fundraising and resource development strategies, securing over $100,000 in funding from grants to support the organization's mission and goals around public art & youth employment. - Community Engagement: Worked closely with community partners and stakeholders to engage them in the project's mission and goals, resulting in increased community involvement and partnerships with Toronto Public Library, Toronto Transit Commission, City of Toronto, Toronto Art Council & Photo Ed Magazine.- Team Management: Managed a team of 10 freelancers, providing direction, support and feedback to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of all programming and project activities.- Impact and Evaluation: Developed and implemented impact and evaluation frameworks, ensuring that activities were measured and evaluated against KPI's, resulting in the successful achievement of numerous outcomes, including increased community engagement, youth mentorship and skills development.

As a mentoring officer and cultural liaison to the Tri-Mentoring Program I provide a variety programming to students represent the diversity of student life. The focus revolves around providing experiences and opportunities for students in the program to become more engaged in the campus while engaging with campus groups that help foster this experience.Through this role I have helped engage students through both cultural and leadership development that supported first generation students
