Sidney left office after a short period to concentrate on expanding his heating and air conditioning business over most of south and central Texas.

Managed all information system aspects for the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs. This includes the network operation, the software development, and testifying during the budget legislative sessions at the Texas House and Senate.

Managed office and operations for Loss Mitigation and workouts for homeowners with FreddieMac and FannieMae loans. Helped write software to integrate with FreddieMac inhouse development and third party vendors.

After leaving Dresser Atlas after one year after the merger between Western Geophysical and Dresser Atlas, also known as Western Atlas International, and moving to Austin, Texas found working in radio broadcasting and owning my own mobile equipment for offsite broadcasting, became one of the most requested mobile disc jockey services in central Texas, the KOOL99 Oldies Road Show. This was a business that worked very close with KLTD Radio 98.9 or KOOL99. Also, had Weekend shows with Oldies103 And Kountry Kat 97 FM. Hosted Oldies Show for the Pecan Street Festival 6 years in a row.

Sales and Support to open hole logging engineers in Canada and US for vertical seismic profiles, offset VSPs, Salt Proximity Surveys and participated in patented exploration tools such as the use of a downhole bullet perforating tool as a downhole energy source for VSP. Gave numerous presentations throughout Canada and US to CSEG, GSH, HGS, SEG, and SPWLA and other local and national exploration organizations.
