During my 10 week internship, I was responsible for programming multiple second level, single fault tolerant embedded systems features for a sensor-less, brushless motor, small angle grinder (SAG). Using the Silicon Labs EFM8BB3 micro-controller, I observed, sampled, and filtered input & output signals from the tested SAG's motor using the MCU’s ADC. After writing code that sufficiently filtered the raw signals, I programmed the SAG's secondary MCU to detect and appropriately respond to over speed, reverse directionality, and no volt motor start up.

While working as a student manager for Johns Hopkins' Summer Conferences Services, I supervised the student clerical staff and coordinated custodial, maintenance, and facilities services between three different offices and six different residential buildings.
