Raft Guide
CurrentRaft Guides for the Grand Teton Lodge Company are responsible for the safety of passengers, interpretive narration, and correct navigation of float trips on the Snake River. Job Requirements:Safely navigate 10 mile stretches of the Snake River with up to 12 guests on board.Conduct thorough safety talks and completed required documentation prior to each trip.Provide interpretive trips, engaging our guests on the history of the Grand Teton National Park, while safely navigating the Snake River.Complete pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment (life jackets, rafts, trailers, ect)Ensure that all rafting equipment is well-maintained and in good working condition. Perform routing checks to identify and address any safety concerns.Be prepared to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Familiarize yourself with emergency procedures and be capable of executing swift and effective responses.Complete Swift Water Rescue Training annually.Other duties as assigned.
