Serving as a partner and bridge builder for organizations working toward shaping a healthier future for all Oklahomans, I managed a variety of community-based grant programs and worked directly with grantees and stakeholder organizations to achieve effective implementation and successful outcomes of programs. I fostered positive, collaborative relationships and supported grantees through guidance, training, and consultation based on best practices. Key functions of my role included:- Serving as the primary point of contact for grantees- Facilitating connections and collaborations with researchers, evaluators, and technical assistance and training partners on the delivery of evidence-based interventions- Maintaining grantee reporting process for both periodic performance reports and final results of completed projects- Researching trends, existing resources and programs, data, and other initiatives to inform decision making about priority populations and future funding approaches- Conducting post-award and pre-performance meetings with grantees- Reviewing and approving program-related strategic maps, work plans, budgets, and budget revision requests

Realizing the mission of the foundation, I develop and maintain partnerships with local organizations and community leaders to empower and strengthen rural towns and cities across the state of Oklahoma. Through the creation of an annual outreach plan, I work to educate community leaders about the services and support CFOK can provide as well as to identify community priorities & goals. In line with this feedback, I work alongside our partners to develop community impact strategies and plans and provide communities with guidance on communications and fundraising. Key functions of my role include:- Maintaining relationships with collaborative partners and cultivating new ones- Coordination of special events, particularly in our partner communities- Developing a consistent presentation outline, including outreach materials and resources- Identifying prospective donors- Administering community grant programs, including board discretionary grants- Working with grantees to identify and develop programming goals and to track/measure progress on outcomes and impact- Review and analyze grant requests and collaborate with various committees to facilitate grantmaking process- Develop evaluation tools to track impact across the state and report on impact & funding activitiesAccomplishments: - Created community fund resource guide to support affiliated community foundation partners statewide in executing place-based giving and ongoing development- Managed 22 affiliated community funds- Led 30th anniversary donor stewardship events, including 4 regional events and a final event held in OKC highlighting the foundation's history- Successfully completed multi-million dollar anniversary campaign, resulting in $10 million in gifts to the foundation

Working alongside the Donor Services team, I advance the mission of CFO through our grant and scholarship programs. I serve as a point of contact for donors and work to see their philanthropic goals fulfilled through offering information about our services, researching giving opportunities, connecting potential donors with our Philanthropic Services team, and cultivating strong relationships with our stakeholders. I play an integral part in CFO's grant programs by evaluating all grant and payment requests for compliance and accuracy and communicate directly with both grantors and grantees to facilitate the grant-making process. I have built strong connections with our scholarship partners, and I work diligently to grow our program through outreach to educators and administrators at high schools across Oklahoma to identify potential applicants. Additionally, I assist with our overall scholarship selection process - from evaluation to selection to notification of awards and working with universities to process payments. Outside of these responsibilities, I administer CFO's CRM system, Community Suite, and ensure data quality and integrity is maintained.Accomplishments: - Creation of data standards for organization's CRM- Adoption of campaign tool to track foundation outreach and engagement with key stakeholders- Assisted in launch of new donor engagement plan, including scholarship stewardship and targeted donor outreach

I worked to mobilize communities in the fight against cancer by training, recruiting, and working alongside volunteers to execute fundraising initiatives and events, such as Relay For Life. My portfolio of events was spread out across the state - in 4 counties and across all of south central Oklahoma. I managed relationships with businesses, organizations, and community partners to increase participation in American Cancer Society events and funding for our critical work. I was a part of a collaborative team incorporating the American Cancer Society's mission work in research, programs and services, education, and advocacy.

I championed the mission of SCHS in the community through organizing fundraising and outreach events; promoting humane education within civic groups, schools, and the local chamber; management of volunteer and foster program, including recruitment, training, and organizing group projects; social media management, including coordinated participation in national animal welfare campaigns; content creation, such as newsletters, news releases, email marketing, and brochures; grant research and application, as well as ongoing program management once funds were awarded. Specific Accomplishments:- Creation of the first financial assistance program for emergency veterinary care, funded by the Banfield Foundation. Offered $5,000 in emergency granted funds to families in Stephens County- Creation of a community cat spay/neuter and vaccination program, which altered 199 feral/semi-feral cats in 2019. Funded by the Petco Foundation- Changed the definition of "saveable" animals in our community shelter by championing a neonatal education program. I trained over a dozen individuals in supportive care for neonatal kittens, resulting in the overall growth of SCHS's foster program by over 150%- Led the community cat education initiative, during which we invited civic groups and community leaders to build winter shelters for community cats that were distributed throughout Stephens County- Launched a brand new volunteer and foster program. Created an online application process for volunteers and fosters, as well as the first educational materials and orientation programs for SCHS's volunteer base- Transitioned SCHS to online CRM system (Salsa CRM & Engage) and served as sole administrator- Coordinated online giving day campaigns for SCHS, resulting in just under $40,000 additional funds for the organization

I frequently worked with student organizations and Greek chapters on campus to collect necessary records, help them apply for university funds, and stay in compliance with ECU standards. I assisted the director in planning weekly campus events in coordination with community partners, such as self-care activities, campus festivals, student organization recruitment efforts, and movie nights. In addition, I assisted in the planning of large events such as Homecoming, Founder’s Week, and Orange Crush Week; this required collaborating with alumni, local businesses, University officials, and student leaders. Included in my job duties were general office management, such as answering phones and emails, fielding questions from students and other constituents, keeping organized files, maintaining a large excel database, and scheduling appointments around my director's calendar.

I assisted in organizing the largest annual fundraiser for the Stephens County Humane Society, Bark in the Park, which raised over $60,000 for SCHS. This required working with local businesses to solicit sponsorships. I created official sponsorship documents and worked directly with over 80 businesses in the Stephens County area.

I was responsible for weekly production of editorial and investigative pieces. This required work in editing layout, research, and conducting interviews.

I was in charge of checking out customers and stocking groceries. This has given me experience in customer service and an understanding of the importance of customer satisfaction.
