About Sidney Choo
I attend The Ohio State University as an Honors student, majoring in Computer Science & Engineering, and minoring in Economics and Biology. I am dedicated to leveraging technology and software development to contribute to public service initiatives. I also have a personal interest in medicine and healthcare, and wish to bring my software development skills to improve the efficiency and security of healthcare. I would love to bring my current education to medical school, and from there pursue further research in genetics and gene editing and public service. Currently, I am a Manager of theCoderSchool in Westerville, OH. It allows me to bring my love for programming and business and teaching all together. I love being able to see younger students learn programming and technology. I work to better the curriculum and teaching for the students, market and work on outreach efforts, and various administrative work. I am interested in any software engineering internship roles, where I can put my developing technological skills in combination with my management and leadership skills. I also love working in a collaborative environment that works together towards a goal bettering a societal issue. I am also interested in any research roles, especially in genetics.
