Working with families and individuals in the community by providing psychosocial rehab services and basic skills training. Some of the issues I work on with individuals include: behavior management, social competency, problem identification and resolution, effective communication, moral reasoning, identity and emotional intimacy, self-sufficiency, and life goals. Other basic skills I work on with families typically involves parent training, social skills, self-care, transitional living skills and organizational and time management skills. I mainly work with children and families, but am also working with young adults who are on parole, or probation.

CPR and First Aid Certified (Adult & Pediatric) from the American Heart Association. Crisis Intervention Prevention (CPI) and Safety Training Certified. Assisted individuals with mental and physical disabilities to lead more independent lives by learning social and basic living skills. Taught critical thinking skills, as well as, entry level job skills. Tracked target behaviors and utilized Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) when working with Individuals with disabilities on their specific behaviors.

Citi program certified to be eligible for human research. Scheduled participants and sent out reminders for experiment dates. Administered informed consent to participants; reviewing the procedures and their rights. Ran basic memory experiments. Worked with fMRI, facilitating participant scanning’s at Renown hospital. Analyzed data using various programs: MATLAB, SPSS, and Excel.

Conducted office administrative duties, as well as customer service support to clients in need.
