Sidney recently graduated from Randolph College with a Biology Degree and Studio Art Minor. She has been an avid equestrian for more than 10 years, excelling in the English hunter jumper discipline and in the IHSA and IEA. Three years ago, she had the opportunity to conducted a research study that analyzed the effectiveness of Tad Coffin's Thera-tree device using thermal imaging, heart rate, and behavioral indicators. While this preliminary study still has data to be analyzed, she enjoyed developing a specialized ethogram, gaining practical research experience, and learning more about advances in equine technology. Combining her love for art, analytical mindset, and technological experience, she dived into coding, management, and sales at Code Ninjas Fleming Island, where kids learn how to code by building videogames. Not long after starting she was promoted to Center Director and is currently managing Code Ninjas World Golf, one of 4 sister locations in the St. Augustine/Jacksonville area. As a Center Director, she creates a positive first impression with customers, works with each customer's unique lifestyle to ensure satisfaction and most beneficial experience, and oversees daily operations and procedures. As a Sensei working with kids in one-on-one and group settings, she reenforces problem solving skills, creativity, and fun with kids through a variety of modalities, with some of her favorite concepts being decomposition, algorithms, and debugging. Sidney currently knows JavaScript and Lua while improving understanding of Python, C#, web development, and 3D modeling and animation.
