Sidney is a strategic, results driven IT senior executive with a proven track record of top performance in both the private and public sectors. Sid has held three CIO positions in Canada and the U.S., as well as having extensive international consulting experience in the U.S. and Asia. Sid has a breadth of knowledge in IT strategy and governance, project management, enterprise architecture, and business process reengineering. Sid has worked in a variety of industries, including transportation, agriculture, healthcare, highway construction, and higher education and directed over 100 IT professionals internationally. He has managed multiple complex projects and resolved critical issues in a timely cost-effective manner and been successful in turnaround and transitional situations.Sid's role with Info-Tech involves providing advice and expertise to CIOs around the world and assisting them with strategic IT issues such as development of an IT Strategy, establishing an IT Governance structure, Service Management, etc. These activities often involve conducting onsite workshops to fast track client initiatives related to strategy or governance.Prior to joining Info-Tech, Sid was CIO and Assistant Commissioner with the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board in Austin, Texas. Sid was also CIO with the Canadian Red Cross and with Canada’s Natural Sciences & Engineering Research Council (NSERC) and spent several years consulting and managing projects at state and international departments of transportation. Sid is a Montreal native and obtained his Bachelor of Commerce and MBA degrees at Concordia University in Montreal.
