Assistant Dean Of Students And Director Of Student Advocacy And Support
Current-Provides leadership to the Office of Student Advocacy and Support, including two full-time staff members and a graduate assistant, and oversee interventions, referrals, and policy development and updates.-Provides day-to-day triage and case management support to the highest acuity student of concern cases, collaborating with students, families, faculty, and staff to foster student success. Maintains appropriate records and case notes. Serves as a member of the after-hours on-call team for the Office of the Dean of Students.-Serves as the vice chair of the Caring Community Connections (CCC) team and as chair in the Dean of Students' absence. Assists in agenda development, meeting facilitation, and team training. Develops and update student support procedures and protocols. Develops and updates record maintenance and tracking processes. Develops annual assessment plan for CCC program.-Oversees administrative processes, including (but not limited to) Student Emergency Fund award process and the Medical Withdrawal and Return processes.-Provides consultation, training, and education to faculty and staff related to students of concern and how best to support their success.-Serves as the back-up to the Dean of Students, as requested, and completes other duties as assigned.
