I’m a UI designer coming from the video game field. I studied the production of visual assets for games and always had an affinity towards concept art, illustration, and user interface. I worked on different games where I had responsibilities like drawing concept art for characters, environment and props, modeling and texturing 3D assets for game environments, as well as drawing 2D assets for the environment of a side-scroller game. I produced the UI assets for most of the games I worked on and this is how I decided to make the jump to UI design.The projects I worked on taught me to listen to my team's needs and quickly provide support where necessary. When needed, I happily learn skills to complete the projects and I always follow strict artistic directions and style guides. I greatly enjoy defining artistic direction (games, web apps) with my concept art. I particularly enjoy understanding the user needs and delivering them a UI that is creative and surprising, yet straightforward and easy to use.My practice of Chito-Ryu Karate (Black belt, 1st dan) since the age of five, taught me discipline and mental clarity.I’m always open to exchanging ideas on how we can improve digital experiences.
