Summary: I hope to spend my life bettering the lives of the communities I love.At Yale University, I study American Studies with a concentration in the Politics of American Communities. I spend my days reading and writing endlessly, particularly enriching myself with the stories of Black lives in America. At Yale, I have had the opportunity to take classes such as Race, Politics, and Law; From the Voting Rights Act to #BLM; and African American Autobiography. Among the various other courses that have occupied my time at Yale, these classes in particular illuminated the injustices that I am most passionate about. I am an ambitious and driven student, dedicated to public service with excellent writing and communication skills and strong analytical capabilities. I hope to use my skills and privileged education to protect and uplift my community.
