I am currently the Executive Producer of the weekend editions of "CNN This Morning" and "First Of All" with Victor Blackwell, based in Atlanta.In this role I am responsible for overseeing all aspects of the show, including determining the editorial direction, guest booking, segment production and live on-air execution. I am also responsible for hiring, mentoring and coaching a team of approximately fifteen journalists, including producers, writers, copy editors and bookers.In my time as EP I have overseen live breaking news coverage of several major events, including the War in Israel, the Russian insurrection, the Surfside Condo collapse in South Florida, mass shootings and severe weather, often incorporating multiple anchors and reporters in different parts of the world. Prior to my current role I have also served as a senior producer, line producer and writer/producer at CNN. I joined CNN from The Weather Channel where I served as producer for the network's flagship morning broadcast "AMHQ with Sam Champion" as well as line producer for "Wake Up With Al" featuring hosts Al Roker and Stephanie Abrams. Prior to joining The Weather Channel, I worked at ABC News Network in New York City as an associate producer and desk assistant for the national assignment desk and "World News" with Charlie Gibson and Diane Sawyer. I've also worked in local television stations in Tallahassee and Tampa, Florida. I am a proud graduate of Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, Florida.
