My role as Design Project Manager at Australis covers a range of projects, including a privately-owned accommodation facility, a drilling company and various small scale projects across Perth.Oasis @ Newman is my main site that is ongoing as we continuously expand and upgrade our facilities. Our current project is the addition of 224 new rooms to a 850-room facility.My role is collaborative - I work with the team and the employees on site to maximise efficiency and ease of functionality, whilst ensuring the space is stylish, sleek and attractive.

My role at Supercheap over my time there has spanned from traditional retail member to a shift supervisor with a merchandising focus. I am the merchandising member for my store as well as completing petrol station setups on behalf of Super Cheap Auto in Metro WA.

My role as Planning Officer at the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder included assessing planning applications and customer assistance. I assessed applications for outbuildings, single houses, grouped dwellings, commercial properties, subdivision referrals from WAPC and amalgamation referrals from WAPC. Working in a regional local government meant I was exposed to a lot more in a quicker time-frame, with more responsibility and trust placed on myself within our small team.

Work experience one day a week for just over a month gaining experience and exposure in the range of different projects, as well as attending some client meetings and SAT. A great learning experience with some fantastic urban planners at Allerding.

Optimus provide financial services and investment for clients. My role was an office all rounder, assisting with various development projects and Scott Mitchell on clients taxation and superfund dealings. I assisted with Accounts Payable using the Xero software. Along with administration work, I also dealt with Executive level client relations, which included managing their most elite client with regards to all her properties, payments and investments. I also assisted in the rebranding of Optimus - new logos, documents, procedure and signage for Optimus, Oasis Newman and Coalara Park.
