-Streamline work plans for daily operations by integrating monitoring & coordination of Zero Waste programs that grew ourcapacity to handle 467 more requests than the previous FY.-Optimize covid-safe recycling procedures boosting campus-wide waste diversion & aversion by 1% & 7% during FY 2020respectively.- Liaise with at least 10 external & over 100 internal parties concerning new projects, ongoing operations, university-wide goals,& regulations.-Engineer, mobilize, & assess initiatives such as the pilot of duo-liter compost bins on the Tempe campus which resulted in anincreased capacity to divert 12 tons of organic waste annually.-Manage, analyze & report institutional solid waste metrics across all 4 ASU campuses.-Author, design, & facilitate presentations to students, staff, & faculty on subject matters such as visual waste audits, expansionstrategies, Zero Waste & Grounds operations, & safety training.-Staff, train, supervise, & inspect the quality of work efforts of a team of 8 materials handlers (full-time & student workers) aswell as volunteers assisting Zero Waste programming.-Mentor & connect resources to ASU students & student organizations on coursework, research, volunteer projects, & initiativespertaining to recycling, composting, & Zero Waste practices.
