Project Management Specialist (Health, Population And Nutrition)
Current Lead the project design and management functions related to health programs focusing on Family Planning Reproductive Health, Health Communication (SBCC), Nutrition and WASH o Managed USAID health portfolio of over $200 million comprising of various grants and agreements promoting family and community health, Social and Behavior Change Communication, Nutrition and WASH for improved maternal and child health outcome in Pakistano Led the design of multiple bilateral and field support awards. This includes $40 million integrated family planning and maternal newborn child health award, $20 million Stunting Prevention Program, $15 million New partnership Initiative – Human Development Activity, $5 million Maternal Child Survival Program. Guide Health Office on gender perspectives and various approaches to support gender mainstreaming to improve access to family health, reduce malnutrition and stunting in women and children and to address the inequities suffered by women and girls due to poor access to water and sanitation services Plan and manage COVID-19 funds to respond to health emergency through vaccine roll out, community engagement and addressing vaccine hesitancy needs for equitable distribution of vaccine and improved coverage. Lead the U.S Government Family Planning compliance monitoring for the health programs to ensure that all stakeholders including implementing partners understands and are in compliance with USG FP policy requirements Ensure close coordination with Global Health/Washington on the implementation of field support and global awards and liaise with other USAID missions for exchange of best practices Work directly with the Chief of Parties for smooth implementation of USAID funded awards and provide guidance/input on the work planning, budgeting, performance monitoring and reporting processes Demonstrate active involvement in managing financial issues related to project activities
