As a development consultant in the Service Centre for Personnel Administration, my main tasks concerned mapping, standardising and optimising work processes. With more than 200 administrative employees in the Service Centre and countless IT systems, my job often involved mapping out interfaces and rather complex interdependencies between teams and systems, in order to develop an optimal working procedure. As a part of the development process, I was also responsible for testing procedures, training staff and continuously improving already implemented procedures. Moreover I assisted the management team by creating communicative presentations, drawings and texts that made it easier to understand and explain complex issues.

Working with market development of a new business area, I standardised and optimised the work procedures related to district cooling projects. I was responsible for editing and updating the website, designing marketing materials and developing Adwords campaigns. Moreover, I worked with identifying new potential customers, arranging informing seminars, and wrote 4 articles for technical journals.

I was a Teaching Assistant in the class Product Development and Innovation Studio 1 (PDI Studio 1) in the fall semester of 2012 during my exchange stay at the university. I assisted during classes four hours a week by supervising students individually, clarifying instructions in plenum and evaluating the class activities within the teaching team. The class introduced new engineering students to the principle of innovative product development by letting the students develop concepts of their own.

In a fixed-term project position, I examined the market opportunities for district cooling in Denmark. I worked independently on mapping this new market area, gathering knowledge of the technology, calcultating business cases and assessing the legislation. I interviewed stakeholders from across the country, represented the company at a large industry fair and arranged a workshop for the employees. On the basis of the market study and an assessment of the company, I proposed a marketing strategy for ABB Denmark. I was praised for my outgoing nature and my pleasant approach to the interviewed stakeholders, as well as for the challenges I took up and competently solved.
