These users were switched to view only non-billable positions that will save Ascension $5 million per year.

Presented status reports to the hospital’s board.• Provided comprehensive oversight through a Cerner implementation's full life-cycle involving 12 applications in a 14-month timeframe, delivered on time and under budget. Primary responsibilities included contract negotiations, resource allocation, change management, process redesign, clinical adoption and transformation, training, budget administration, and program management. • Acted as Project Manager for Vital Works, Cerner’s subscription-based physician’s office management system. Duties included project oversight, workflow analysis, and site walk-through for equipment placement.
• Reported to the Chief Medical Officer, responsible for the development and implementation of Computerized Physician Order Entry through Physician Clinical Adoption; Co-led a physician steering committee with the Chief Medical Office.• Guided the committee through transformation of paper records to an electronic environment that included laying the foundation for CPOE; Recruited personnel to assist with the Cerner ASC build, enhancing project timeliness and success.
