Sid Yenamandra is the Founder and CEO of Surge Ventures, an innovative compliance-focused venture fund, and also serves as Chairman & CEO of portfolio companies RegVerse and Kovair. Previously, he founded Entreda, which became the leading provider of cybersecurity compliance software for financial services. Under his leadership, Entreda was acquired by K1 Capital and Smarsh in 2020, where he managed Smarsh's $100M+ ARR wealth management business and drove several add-on acquisitions. Earlier in his career, Sid was VP at venture-funded Plato Networks, which was sold to Netlogic Microsystems and later acquired by Broadcom for $4B. He also founded PacketFX and worked on NSA cryptographic projects. Sid holds dual B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from UC Berkeley and has two software patents.
