In this position, I am the right hand of the Liaison Officer to the WHO (LWHO) who is responsible for representing 1.5 million medical students with WHO and affiliated organizations. My focus is on supporting in external collaborations with the various departments of WHO and all other global student organizations. I also support the LWHO in coordinating.

This internship took place as part of my master thesis.

Health professionals in the Netherlands are rarely involved in (international) health policy, while they are capable of making a relevant contribution. Additionally, the majority of students in healthcare related studies have limited knowledge of health policy. The goal of IFMSA-NL's Youth Delegate Programme is to inform, enthuse and engage future health.
