My role involved lead generation, learning about SaaS sales, and conducting market research.

As part of my major (MSc Communication Sciences: New Media & Society), I was given the challenge, together with a group of 9 fellow students, to invent an innovative solution to a problem in health care: making health care understandable to all Ghentian citizens. During the academic year we worked from the "double diamond" principle in 7 sprints towards a technological prototype in which each team member had a specific team role, and I was allowed to perform the function of "chairman".Tasks and trajectory during this innovation management-challenge:- In-depth interviews, creative brainstorms & state-of-the-art analysis to discover business opportunities - Organization and supervision of cocreation workshops, usability testings & Figma - Preparing research reports- Progress reports and presentationsMy additional duties as so-called "chair" specifically during this year:- Keeping an overview and monitoring progress- Contributing content to analyses, interviews, preparation of co-creation workshops & prototype- Weekly meetings planning, content preparation and leading of meetings- Presenting to students, external challenger and stakeholders of the challenge- Contact point for all stakeholders

I was part of the Digital Innovation Team of District09 (former Digipolis) in Ghent. Here I had the opportunity to learn about technological subsidy files, provided content for a monthly technology newsletter reaching 800 readers, and my main task was to supervise and lead an innovation project on digitized heritage. I communicated with various stakeholders, saw to it that predetermined deadlines were met, and was placed in a guiding and coordinating role from the start of my internship.
