Gedurende vele jaren heb ik op verzoek van de wereld hockeybond en de Nederlandse hockeybond als docent over de hele wereld hockey coaches en trainers opgeleid. De laatste jaren ben ik ook een World Academy of Sports gecertificeerde Trainer Opleider van opleiders in de sport.De afgelopen jaren heb ik cursus gegeven in Nederland, India, Maleisië, China, Japan, Zuid Afrika, Ghana, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Verenigde staten van Amerika, Duitsland, Polen, Ukraine,Italië, Ierland, Cyprus, Griekenland, Egypte en USA. Deze internationale ervaring heeft mijn mensenkennis en kennis van verschillende culturen verrijkt.Tijdens de meeste opleidingen was Engels de voertaal. In Nederland was dat uiteraard Nederlands.

I'm Head Coach of Japan National Men's Field Hockey Team and will work with the team till after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. We will try to be very competitive during the Olympic games. My Job is to prepare the team to deliver during the Tokyo Olympics and meanwhile delivering too in the World Hockey league, The Asia Cup, Asian Games, Home & Away Hockey league, at the World Cup and Championstrophy when we qualify. August 2018 Samurai Japan took part in the Asian Games the first Olympic qualifier for Tokyo Olympics. Samurai Japan won the gold medal and qualified not only as host but by winning the qualifier. Great achievement and I’m very proud that I was allowed to be the teams head coach. In 2017 Samurai Japan participated in the Asia Cup where we finished 5th, (Target was 5th) In 2017 Samurai Japan played a four nations tournament in Melbourne where we finished 3rd, In New Zealand Samurai played 2, 4 Nation tournament where we ended 4th and 3rd, Samurai Japan aslo played a 3 nations tounament in Oman where we finished 1st, we had a test serie vs New Zealand which we won, we also played a test serie vs Germany which we lost. The most important tournament for us in 2018 was the Asian Games which is an Olympic Games qualifier, this tournament we won the gold medal and qualified for the Tokyo Olympics, as hosting country we were allready qualified, this was not good enough for us we wanted to qualify by ourselves and thats what we did. We belong at the Tokyo Olympics. We have to yeras tuime to prepare ourselves to make an other dream come true and that is winning a medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Time will tell but we are convinced that we can and we know how we want to ake our dreams come true!!

Eind verantwoordelijk voor het functioneren van het begeleidingsteam rondom heren 1 alsook voor de technische, tactische, fysieke, mentale en sociale ontwikkeling van de spelers van heren 1 van AMHC Amersfoort. Daarnaast ben ik adviseur van het bestuur voor hockey inhoudelijke zaken.

In mijn laatste functie als programma manager mobiliteit bij UWV was ik eindverantwoordelijk voor de zes loopbaan centra die UWV heeft voor eigen personeel. Deze loopbaan centra hebben als voornaamste taak om boventallige UWV medewerkers te begeleiden van werk naar werk. Het is in de afgelopen jaren steeds gelukt om honderden UWV medewerkers die door reorganisaties boventallig werden van werk naar werk te begeleiden. Nu na twee en een half jaar heb ik besloten dat het weer tijd is voor verandering. Ik ben op zoek naar een nieuwe uitdaging binnen of buiten UWV. Persoonlijke EigenschappenCreatief, initiatiefrijk, onafhankelijk, praktisch, ondernemend, leren van ervaringen, communicatief, analytisch, inspirator, dynamisch en energiek. Een mensen mens die mensen goed mee kan krijgen in veranderingen.

I was Head Coach of Japan's National Man's Fieldhockey Team.I coached the team during the World Cup Qualifier in Lille (France) In 2009 and were the runner up. In the Hong Kong 2009 East Asian Games we won the silver medal. In 2010 we won the four Nation tournament in Electrostahl (Russia) We won silver in the Hamburg Masters (Germany) We became fourth in Nottingham ( England) In the 2011 Asian Games we finished sixth. In these tournaments the team played very attractive and well organized hockey. We played achieved good results against the top-teams in the world and were on our way to become a very competitive unit. The players improved technical, tactical, physical and mental. According to the players they didn't only improve as hockey-player but also a person and they learned how to become a real team-player. They enjoyed hockey during this period.
